Alright, alright we are back like we never left!

It has been almost two years since we moved to America and everyone, there is so much I have to tell you. Whether it has been the transition from moving around year to year to settling down, starting to have responsibilities, or having two kids; I don’t know which one but it was a ROUGH first year.

Now that the storm has settled, I am ready to be present again 🙌🏼

First and foremost.
We settled in America in June, which meant I had 2-3 months to find a place for Ava to go to school or Kindergarten. As a three year old her ample energy needed friends and stability (plus Mama needed a break).

Bella was only a new one year old so she stayed home with me.

Luckily, we had friends who helped us out. As I never had to worry about childcare (no matter where we were), filling out paperwork for school was exciting. I remember triple-checking if everything was correct so my daughter could attend school.

As she was accepted and school started I realized how big she had become. I think I speak for most moms when I say, “How is my kid already big enough for school but still so little in my heart?”

Her first day was full of excitement, happiness, and nervousness. My baby is going to school! What a significant milestone. She loved it and I was so relieved. Ava has found a safe space to learn, laugh, and play with friends.

In her 3rd school year now Ava has such a love for school and I hope it will last long! Bella is now in her 2nd year of school, but this is for another time.

So, moms, I know sending your kids to school for the first time is hard and scary because you want to protect them. But it will get better with time.

To ensure that your child is happy and safe, please:

I am happy to be back and I hope to give you momma, a safe place to relax, to laugh and to connect! Talk to you soon!
